Simba SC will finalize its preparations today ahead of the Premier League clash against Yanga, scheduled to be played tomorrow, Wednesday, at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
According to internal sources from the club’s management, the final training session will take place at Mo Simba Arena and not at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, even though regulations permit Simba to conclude their preparations at the Mkapa pitch.
After their match against Kagera Sugar two days ago, Simba returned to camp and has continued its training quietly behind closed doors.
So far, no club official has been willing to speak publicly about the team's plans for the derby—except Head Coach Fadlu Davids, who spoke briefly after the Kagera Sugar match.
It is evident that Simba will approach the game against Yanga simply to fulfill the fixture, as the decision to reschedule the match has clearly displeased the club's leadership, members, and even supporters.
