Simba’s Assistant Coach, Selemani Matola, has called on the club's supporters to turn out in large numbers at the KMC Complex stadium tomorrow, Sunday, June 22, for the NBC Premier League match against Kagera Sugar.
This will be Simba's final home match of the season.
"They have stood by us since the start of this season, so I ask them to come in large numbers to support us in our last match at our home ground," Matola said.
"This is an important match for us to win, so we need their support, just as they have always given us whenever we’ve played at the KMC Complex."
Speaking about the team's preparations ahead of the match, Matola said the team is ready to fight for all three points.
He noted that the match against Kagera Sugar will be tough because playing against a team with nothing to lose is never easy.
"Kagera Sugar have already been relegated, so they have nothing to lose. We know they’ll challenge us because they won’t be under the pressure to get results like we are," he said.
"On our side, we need to win this game, especially considering we are still in the race for the league title," added Matola.
