The 2024/25 NBC Premier League season is set to conclude in just over two weeks, with Simba remaining with only three matches to wrap up their campaign.
On June 15, the decisive Kariakoo Derby match against Yanga a potential title decider will be played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, followed by two other fixtures against Kengold on June 18 and Kagera Sugar on June 22.
While preparations for these matches are ongoing, Simba’s management is simultaneously working on transfer plans, currently finalizing deals with players whom head coach Fadlu Davids has recommended to retain for the upcoming season.
Insider reports indicate that Simba has concluded contract extension talks with Congolese midfielder Fabrice Ngoma, whose current deal is set to expire at the end of this month.
Ngoma is one of the senior players in Fadlu’s squad, and Simba has decided to offer him a new two-year contract. He joins Cameroonian defender Che Malone Fondoh, with the club's leadership also showing interest in renewing his contract.
Simba is aiming to complete its transfer business early, with reports suggesting that some new signings have already been given contracts the only thing left is for the transfer window to officially open so the announcements can be made.
