Simba Assistant Coach Selemani Matola has confirmed that the team has arrived safely in Babati ahead of their CRDB Cup semifinal clash against Singida Black Stars, scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) at the Tanzanite Kwaraa Stadium.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Matola said the squad is in good shape after completing a league match just two days ago.
He added that all players are fully fit with no injury concerns, and the team’s primary goal is to win the match on Saturday and advance to the CRDB Cup final.
“We’re thankful to have arrived safely here in Babati. All players are in good condition and we have no injury issues,” said Matola.
“We are ready for the match against Singida Black Stars. We respect them—they’re a good team with many experienced players.”
“However, despite their quality, our objective is to reach the final of the CRDB Cup, so we are well-prepared and determined to secure a win in this match.”
“This is not our first time playing in Babati—we had a league match here earlier this year, so I don’t expect any challenges on our end,” Matola concluded.
