Former Simba chairman Hassan Dalali has said they will not accept the CAF Confederation Cup being taken away
Dalali made the statement today while promoting the Confederation Cup final between Simba and RS Berkane to be played on Sunday at the Amaan Stadium, Zanzibar
"In 1993, the guest was Mwinyi (Ali Hassan Mwinyi) and the cup was taken away, on Sunday, the guest was Mwinyi (Dk Hussein), and then we will not accept the cup being taken away. Simba, we represent the country, if someone does us harm, he is sabotaging the country"
"The youth want this cup. Let's give them cooperation by cheering them all the time on the field. We have a very good team, come and cheer for our team. We pray to God and for us that this is our year," said Dalali.
Simba will travel to the New Amaan Complex on Sunday in front of about 15,000 fans in search of a crucial 3-0 win to ensure the Confederation Cup remains on Tanzanian soil
It will obviously be a tough match but all heroes are found in such circumstances, Simba players have a chance to have their names written in golden ink if they succeed in winning the title
