Simba's honorary president, Billionaire Mohammed Dewji 'Mo', has said the club was unfairly treated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in moving the second leg of the Confederation Cup (CAF CC) final against RS Berkane from the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium to the New Amaan Complex, Zanzibar
In a statement issued by Mo earlier today, he noted that the renovation of the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium was carried out in accordance with the criteria set by CAF to ensure that the second final is played at that stadium
Mo also noted that the changes made by CAF have been shrouded in confusion as information began to circulate on social media before the official announcement was made
Mo said Simba is going to Zanzibar not voluntarily but out of obligation and will fulfill that obligation with solidarity
