Football analyst from Clouds FM, Farhan Kihamu has said that the change of the venue for the second leg of the Confederation Cup (CAF CC) final between Simba and RS Berkane is a continuation of African football politics
Farhan said that what is happening now is like an attempt to 'carry' Berkane whose owner is the Chairman of the Moroccan Football Association who is also the Vice President of CAF
"African football has more than 100 things, it has its own very strong politics and its affairs are not easy, Benjamin Mkapa has become a hot oven and is very famous in Africa"
"The last time Berkane threw a punch here, the whole time the reason was searched for a lot and now it has been found that it was the pitch and finally Berkane is running"
"But I personally think that people should not give up, Simba is going to carry this African championship without Mkapa playing. We are not just playing with Berkane but the team "The Chairman of the Moroccan Football Association and one of the Vice Presidents of CAF," wrote Farhan on his social media page
Still, TFF President Wallace Karia and Simba and Government officials are fighting to convince CAF to stop the game being played at Mkapa Stadum
