Simba Head Coach Fadlu Davids has said that players are facing challenges due to the schedule of playing on natural and artificial grass pitches
In the four-match schedule, May 02 Simba played against Mashujaa Fc and emerged with a 2-1 victory at the KMC Complex stadium which has artificial grass
May 05 Simba played against JKT Tanzania at the Isamuhyo Stadium and emerged with a 1-0 victory at the natural grass pitch
May 08 Simba returns to the KMC Complex stadium to play against Pamba Jiji and then heads to Tabora region to face KMC at the Ali Hassan Mwinyi stadium which has natural grass
"The change of playing on natural grass and then back to artificial grass, is bothering our players. We already have challenges for some players"
"Che Malone (Fondoh), Camara (Moussa) and Chamou (Caraboua) are suffering from knee and ankle problems"
"We will assess the conditions of all players and see who is ready for the next matches against Pamba Jiji and KMC," said Fadlu
Yesterday Fadlu was forced to make changes to the squad shortly before the match, removing the injured Chamou and replacing him with Yusuph Kagoma
In the period of 5 days, Simba faces two matches, one in Dar es Salaam and the other in Tabora region
It should be noted that Simba faces the Confederation Cup final matches against RS Berkane to be played on May 17 and May 25 (away and home)
