Speaking to Simba fans of the Simba Umoja ni Nguvu Mkwajuni Branch, Zanzibar; Ahmed said the responsibility of ensuring Simba advances to the final stage is in their hands as a big win in Sunday's game will be the catalyst for reaching the final
Ahmed said it will make history in the Zanzibar islands playing its first international match and all they need is a big win to take them to the final
"For the first time, Simba is playing an international game on Zanzibar soil. We have 180 minutes left to go to the final, the first 90 here in Zanzibar and the other 90 will be in South Africa. Now the 90 are the most valuable, we need to finish the job while we are here. This match is your match, Zanzibari people, and we believe you can do this. I believe this is possible and you Zanzibari people can handle this burden and take Simba to the final"
