Former Simba chairman Hassan Dalali, popularly known as Field Martial, has said there is no way Al Masry will survive the defeat at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium tomorrow in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) quarter-final.
Dalali said Simba has never been stuck when it comes to its cause, this time they have planned not only to advance the semi-finals, but to become champions altogether as playing in the semi-finals and even the final will not be a new thing for them.
"I want to tell the Arabs, they will not leave on the 9th. This is Simba, you will see there. I believe in the youth, our Simba team has great potential and we want to take the cup not just half. We have already entered the final, not in 1993, now we want the cup and with the power of Allah we will win"
"There are people who do not want us to continue so they are using some of our internal people. All Simba fans, come to the stadium, and friends also come and see, even if they want "Wear your muscles and come cheer on our team. But I tell you on the 9th, the Arab will find a way through," Dalali boasted.
The current and former leaders have fully participated in the excitement leading up to the game, which Mnyama is clearly aiming to reach the semi-finals.
This is a match that should have only two possible outcomes, Simba winning by three or more goals or Al Masry losing by that number of goals.
Yesterday, Simba trained at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium and today the team will complete preparations at that stadium.
