Simba will attend a meeting convened by the Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Hon. Palamagamba Kabudi, to resolve the dispute that arose after the League Board postponed the 184th NBC Premier League match between Yanga and Simba, which was scheduled to be played on March 8 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Minister Kabudi called for the meeting, which will bring together the TFF, the League Board, Simba and Yanga clubs. The meeting is expected to start at 1 pm
Simba Club made its position clear earlier that it is waiting for a new date for the match while their opponents Yanga are refusing to play the match, demanding that they be given 3 points.
However, according to the rules, since the match was postponed by the League Board and its procedures were not completed, Yanga cannot be given three points.
