Simba fans from various regions have started preparing for a trip to Dar es Salaam to witness the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) quarter-final between Simba and Al Masry of Egypt
The match to decide Simba's fate to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament to write another record, will be played on April 09 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
In 1993, Simba played the final of the tournament (at that time it was called the Winners' Cup)
Before that game, Simba will travel to Egypt to play the first match of the quarter-finals on April 02 at the Suez Stadium
Simba's Media and Communications Manager Ahmed Ali said he has received information from branches from various regions who are preparing for the trip to Dar
"On April 09, we will go and write another history at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, we are going to qualify for the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC)"
"Simba fans are determined, hundreds of Simba fans will travel from all corners of Tanzania to Dar es Salaam to witness great history"
"I have information from some branches that have started organizing the travel arrangements to come and increase enthusiasm," said Ahmed
