This Friday, Simba is expected to leave Tanzania for Egypt where they face the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final against Al Masry
On April 02, Simba will face Al Masry in a crucial 90 minutes for the Beast to put themselves in a good position to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament
The Simba bosses' goal is for the team to get time to acclimatize to the weather so the squad will leave after the Confederation Cup (CRDB Cup) round of 16 match against Bigman FC, which will be played on March 27
After a few days of rest, the squad returned to training last Friday where on Saturday they played a friendly match against KMC and emerged with a 4-0 victory
The match was played at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium, a stadium owned by JKT Tanzania which has natural grass
It should be noted that the game between Al Masry vs. The Simba match will be played at the Suez Stadium which is made of natural grass, so coach Fadlu Davids used the match against KMC as part of the preparation and got his players ready to play on a similar pitch.
