Simba Head Coach, Fadlu Davids has explained his technical strategy in the attack line emphasizing the importance of changing positions for forward players including Elie Mpanzu, Kibu Denis and Charles Jean Ahoua to generate different types of attacks
The South African coach who is playing his cards for the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final against Al Masry, said the attacking system is not for one player to stay in one area depending on the opponent's strategy
"We try to place our players in different positions depending on the opponent we face. Sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right depending on the game plan"
Fadlu said the change of positions has been helping them in many games including the previous one against Dodoma Jiji who emerged with a 6-0 victory, citing Kibu Denis as an example of a player who changed from one side to the other and disrupted the opposing team's defenders
"Kibu Denis was blocked at some point and we decided to change positions. This is part of our rotation system and changing something that is important for our front four," said Fadlu.
