After the league board postponed the premier league match against Yanga which was supposed to be played on Narch 08 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, the new date for the match is about to be announced
Internal information from TPLB has revealed that the Board is completing its investigation into the events that led to the match being postponed due to Yanga's 'bouncy' who prevented Simba from holding their final training session at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Yanga wrote a letter to the Board requesting to be given three points after the match failed to take place, the Board has replied to Yanga that the match was postponed in accordance with the regulations
In its response, TPLB has stated that the reasons for postponing the match were security
In addition, there are allegations of corruption, threats and security deficiencies so it would be difficult to allow the match to continue as it would create challenges, before, during and even after the match
The Board will announce the new date for the match while Simba club through the Media Manager and Communication Ahmed Ali stating that Simba is complying with the authorities and will be ready to play the game on a new date to be announced.
