The Information Officer of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), Karim Boimanda has said that the referee of the Premier League match between Yanga and Simba to be played on March 8, 2025 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium is Ahmed Arajiga
Arajiga will be assisted by assistant referees Kassim Mpanga and Mohammed Mkono while the reserve referee will be Amina Kyando
Just last week, Arajiga played in the Premier League game between Simba and Azam Fc which was played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium and ended in a 2-2 draw
Arajiga won the award for the best referee of the NBC Premier League last season, being the only referee from Tanzania who, in these two years, has had the opportunity to play CAF and FIFA matches
