Simba head coach, Fadlu Davids has said that despite the players being in good competitive form, he still has something to do for his players before they face Namungo next week.
Fadlu has said this due to the League Board (TPLB) postponing the Premier League game between the team and Dodoma City, following the accident that happened to Dodoma when they were coming from Lindi to get a 2-2 draw with their hosts Namungo earlier this week.
Fadlu has said that Simba is at the peak of quality and he wanted to see them go with the schedule, but due to the problem that happened he will continue to hold the players so that they can continue to improve their fitness.
"This is a safety cycle, the fitness of the players is the key to the results we get if you monitor every player who gets a chance to play now he is fighting to make sure we reach our goals," he said and added;
"If you give the players a chance to rest even for just two days, you are starting over, maybe you should give a special training schedule, something that is not right in this round, I believe that if they even leave their homes and train once a day, they will be at their best."
Fadlu said that he is currently preparing for the matches ahead of them regardless of when the game will be played again.
"Our goals are to make sure we win every game, you can't become a champion by winning four matches, we need to keep collecting points and make sure we can also block well," said Fadlu and added;
