The defending champions of the Women's Premier League (WPL), Simba Queens this evening beat Mlandizi Queens 11-0 at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.
In that game, Jentrix Shikangwa scored four goals, Asha Djafar scored a hat-trick, Aisha Mnunka scored two while Precious Christopher and Ruth Ingosi each scored once.
This is the second game the teams have met after the one in the first round in which Simba won 3-0 at the TFF Kigamboni Stadium.
The main attraction in the game was the striker of Simba Queens, Mnunka who showed the best level in his first game since returning to the team
The attacker, who emerged as the top scorer last season when he scored 21 goals, was out of the field for about five months, when he left the club controversially while reports claimed that the club escaped with the intention of signing him, despite the fact that he still had a contract with Simba Queens before to return after appropriate meetings in the Law and Status of Players Committee of the Football Federation (TFF).
