Simba Information and Communications Manager Ahmed Ali has asked the Simba fans to respect the punishment given by CAF by making sure they do not attend at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium when the game between Simba and CS Constantine is played on Sunday
Ahmed has said that CAF has given conditions that Simba club should implement in order to avoid facing serious punishment
In addition, Simba has prepared a special area where fans from the city of Dar es Salaam can gather to witness the game
"We have a big job to finish the first place in our group. As you know our game, we have been prevented from allowing fans to enter the stadium. It has been a very painful event and some still don't believe it, it has confused us a lot" p>
"This penalty is one match where if we serve this penalty well, the fans will enter the field in the quarter-final match. I ask the Nanasimbas to respect this penalty, anyone no matter how clever they are to enter the field, I ask the Nanasimbas to stay away from the Stadium Mkapa"
"There are people who will be checking if we have followed the procedure. We have a certain number of people to enter the stadium so it will not exceed a single person. There is a procedure given to us by CAF and we Simba will follow that procedure"
"There have been many comments from people who want us to put a big screen at the Uhuru stadium so that the noise that will be made can reach the players. People are not allowed to stay 1,000 meters from the Mkapa stadium. This is not possible and doing so is breaking the law"
