Simba Information and Communication Manager Ahmed Ali said defender Che Malone Fondoh's act of apologizing for the mistakes he made in the game against Bravos is polite and he must be forgiven
In the game played on November 11 in Angola the other day, Che Malone passed to the Bravos striker who scored the team's leading goal
He was returning the ball to goalkeeper Moussa Camara, however his pass was short and caught by the Bravos striker
However, Simba equalized the goal in the second half through Lionel Ateba and succeeded in qualifying for the quarter-finals of the Confederation Cup (CAF CC)
Ahmed has said that Che Malone has admitted he was wrong and in that sense there is nothing the coders should do other than to forgive him
"He himself has admitted to making a mistake and asked to be forgiven. When a person makes a mistake and admits his mistake and asks for forgiveness, then he is forgiven"
"We know that was not the first time he committed such a mistake, but the important thing is that he has identified his shortcomings, apologized and promised not to repeat those mistakes"
"We still need Che Malone in our team because he is an important player. In 90 minutes he does a lot of good things so we have forgiven him," said Ahmed
In another game of the Federation cup against CS Sfaxien played at Benjamin Mkapa's stadium, Che Malone made the same mistake as he did in Angola and led Simba to an early defeat
No doubt he will work on that challenge in the training ground to increase focus when he returns the ball to the goalkeeper
