CS Sfaxien club have been punished by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) due to the violence they did at Benjamin Mkapa stadium after a 2-1 defeat by Simba in the 3rd round of the Confederations Cup in Africa (CAF CC)
CS Sfaxien have been prevented from admitting fans in their two home matches in the championship, which are against Simba and Bravos
The club has also been fined USD 50,000 due to the violence they started soon after Simba scored the second 'iron' in the 10th minute
They attacked the referee while a few of their fans who were in the VIP B stands threw chairs at him to attack the Simba fans and led to great violence in the stands which caused 256 seats to be uprooted
It is now official that the match between CS Sfaxien and Simba to be played on January 5 in Tunisia will be played without fans
