Simba attacking midfielder, Jean Charles Ahoua, has revealed that he is the number one penalty taker in the squad where he has been trusted by the Head Coach, Fadlu Davids and his teammates
Ahoua who is a citizen of the Ivory Coast who was signed by Simba at the beginning of this season from Stella Club d'Adjame in the country, last Wednesday scored a goal with a penalty kick in the first group game of the African Confederation Cup against Bravo do Maquis of Angola and gave the team a 1-0 victory
He said that in the short time he has come to the Simba club, Coach Fadlu and his teammates have already trusted him in the penalty shootout
"I am grateful to the coach and my teammates for trusting me to be the team's number one penalty taker, they have had a lot of faith in me, I thank God for that, I have also not let them down because I have been scoring all the ones that have been given to me and I will continue to do so if there are others because I believe in myself and I believe that I can score," said the player
In the Tanzania Mainland Premier League, the player has scored both penalties that he has been given out of the four that Simba has received. He scored a penalty kick in the game that the team played against Dodoma Jiji and enabled them to win 1-0, also against KMC, leading Simba to win 4-0
The other two were scored by Leonel Ateba, who also put them all on the rope, in the game against Coastal Union when the score was 2-2, and against Pamba when they won 1-0
