The former striker of Simba, Meddie Kagere has said that it is not easy for the strikers to reach the record he set by emerging as the top scorer twice in a row in the Premier League if they fight against his shadow and do not give up
Serving Simba, Kagere did it in the 2018/19 season scoring 23 goals and in 2019/20 he scored 22, a record that has not been reached by any player so far
The striker of Namungo Fc said that it is not easy for a player to break that record if he does not give up and looked more at him
"Dedication, working correctly and not looking at what the opponent is doing is the secret of that success and I am also hurt not to break my own record of the first season,"
" said Kagere
The Rwandan star has said that the trio of attack that Simba had is an example for coaches to follow as many do not believe in playing with three attackers, but in the same years it was happening and giving success
"Imagine we were playing with three attackers and we all scored, it never happened. But, I played with Bocco and Mugalu, we scored many goals and I managed to be the best in scoring. We made a good twin with great success in Simba"
