The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Abdoulaye Manet (34) from Guinea to play the rematch of the second round of the African Confederation Cup between Simba and Al Ahli Tripoli to be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, next Sunday from 4:00 pm
The referee got the Fifa badge in 2020 where his first international match was on February 21, 2021 where he was the reserve referee for the African Confederation Cup match between Senegal's Jaraaf and Zimbabwe's Platinum
The first game for Manet to play was the preliminary stage of the Champions League in Africa between Raja Club Athletic against AS Garde National du Nig, August 24
On September 10, he played a match to qualify for the finals of African nations (Afcon) 2025 between Zimbabwe and Cameroon
Sunday's match between Simba and Al Ahli Tripoli will be the second to play as a referee in the CAF competition at the club level
