The chairman of the Tanzania Football Players Association, (SPUTANZA), Mussa Kisoki, has come out and said the player Yusuph Kagoma should not apologize to anyone or any club for what happened and to do so is humiliating him
Kisoki said this due to Yanga Club, through its Information Officer, Ali Kamwe, asking the player to apologize for what he did to them so that they allow him to play for his current club, Simba
Yanga has sent a report to the Players' Law and Status Committee about the player taking their money and signing a contract, but later they heard that he has signed again at Simba Club
However, Kamwe demanded that they let him go and they want the player to apologize, otherwise they will count him as a player who has signed twice
Speaking in the city of Dar es Salaam yesterday, Kisoki said that the way he handled the issue since last Friday and the examples brought to him, Kagoma should not apologize to any person or club and whoever wants that, then his intention is to humiliate the player
"We have started working on the Kagoma issue since Friday and we have found evidence that shows that this issue did not need to be this long, it should have ended long ago, but there are people who want to flex their muscles just for the sake of the player"
"Kagoma was a Fountain Gate player, now if you go to the federal regulations that lead the league, there is a transfer rule 59 that he enters there, he does not enter as a player who ends his contract, or is free, he leaves the club, he is ordered by the club what to do, Kagoma did nothing wrong, everything he was doing was according to the club's instructions," said Kisoki
He said that from today he will start giving official information about the incident, but he insisted that Kagoma has no case to answer because everything went as planned
