The head coach of Simba Queens, Juma Mgunda, has said that his players know what led them to Ethiopia and they are well aware of the expectations of Tanzanians
Simba Queens is in Ethiopia to participate in the Women's Champions League of East and Central Africa (CECAFA), which is expected to be held from tomorrow until August 31, this year
Mgunda said all the players are in good condition and promise to fight to ensure they win the championship
"Wandele (girls) know what made them come to Ethiopia, despite having a club role, but they have a national role, they are good and ready," said Mgunda
He added that every match for them will be important and they will not underestimate their opponents starting from the first match they will play on Sunday against FAD from Djibouti
Simba Queens are scheduled in Group B and will go down again on August 20, this year against Kawempe Muslim FC from Uganda and will finish the group stage matches against the champions of Burundi, PVP Buyenzi two days later
The two teams that will finish in the top two places will advance to the semi-finals and the finals of the competition will be held on August 21, this year.
