Simba holding midfielder, Nigerian Augustine Okejepha has said that he is pleased with the team's ongoing preparations at the camp, Ismailia Misri, while making it clear that every player currently shows that he wants to fight for the team next season.
The star who joined Simba from Rivers United of Nigeria, said that despite his new arrival in the team and his unfamiliarity with his teammates, he was happy with the way they received him, which gives him confidence in the future.
"I feel like I'm at home because I've been well received by my teammates, which gives me joy in my heart, in fact the preparations are good and all the players have shown how we want to do better next season," he said p>
Okejepha who once played for Kano Pillars which he joined from Warri Wolves FC both in Nigeria, added, since they started training for the new season, the spirit has been great from the players, the technical bench and the leaders.
"Everything is going well and the leaders have been with us side by side to make sure we give the best to our fans, I believe the next season will be good and the thing that gives me pride is how each one of us shows in training" p>
The 20-year-old star, he said, was not easy to reject the offer of FC Ural Yekaterinburg from Russia, which holds the First Division League, because he needed to follow in the footsteps of the great stars from Nigeria who played for Simba.
"There are many players from Nigeria who have passed or are still present in Tanzanian football like, Nelson Okwa, Victor Akpan, Benjamin Tanimu and Morice Chukwu, so I liked to see myself in a similar place too"
