The tension between Simba and Coastal Union over the registration of defender Lameck Lawi may be resolved by the higher authorities of football management after the teams did not reach an agreement
Lawi has reported in the training of the Coastal Union team that is preparing to participate in the Kagame Cup and at the same time he was called to Dar to complete the final procedures of the Simba club before traveling to Egypt for the pre-season
Chairman of Coastal Union Steven Mguto who is also the Chairman of the League Board, said his club has finished with Simba about the player and he will remain at Coastal Union
"We have closed the issue of Levi because from the beginning we explained to Simba that they did not meet the conditions, so all their money was returned"
"Levi is our player and he is in the squad for the preparation of the Kagame Cup," said Mguto
Member of the Board of Directors of the Simba club Crescentius Magori has said that if they do not reach an agreement here then the matter may go to be decided by FIFA (CAS)
