Simba Club is said to have completed the signing of midfielder from the Republic of Congo, Debora Mavambo Fernandes (with a white jersey in the picture above), who was playing for Mutondo Stars of the Zambia Premier League (MTN)
The 24-year-old Angolan-born midfielder is already in the country and may be among the players to be introduced by Simba in the next few days
Debora has served Mutondo FC for one season, joining from Angola's Academica Petroleos do Lobito club in 2023
The midfielder is capable of playing holding midfield but has also rarely been used in the defensive line
The arrival of Debora may witness Simba parting with Sadio Kanoute or Babacar Sarr
Simba Club Information and Communication Manager Ahmed Ali has said that the leadership is in discussions to terminate the contracts of some players
Information for those players to be given a 'Thank You' will be released after the process is over
