Simba is expected to sign striker Steven Mukwala who is playing for Ghana's Asante Kotoko
News from within the Simba club say that Mukwala will sign a three-year contract
Despite his team finishing sixth in the Ghana League standings, Mukwala finished second in the list of top scorers in the country, scoring 14 goals, led by the winner of the golden boot last season, Stephen Amankona of Berekum. Chelsea FC finished with 19 goals
In the two seasons he served Kotoko, Mukwala scored 25 goals in 65 games
The striker is said to replace Pa Omari Jobe who reports say will be released on loan after failing to show his edge since he was signed in the middle of the season
Simba is determined to make major improvements to the squad where about eight foreign stars are likely to be signed
