The National Team (Taifa Stars) is expected to face the Indonesians in an international friendly match that will be played today starting at 6:00 pm (Tanzania time), at the GBK Madya Stadium in Jakarta
Stars is playing the match to prepare for the World Cup Finals qualifier against Zambia which will be played on June 11, this year at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, in Ndola
The coach of Stars, Hemed Morocco, has said that some of the players who were not on the trip before, have already arrived in Jakarta, and he is sure that the match will be the right test for his team
"Preparations are good, for now we are done because there are other stars who have already joined the team, we have only trained well, there are small adjustments we are trying to solve in our squad, all the players are in good health, we hope we will get good results in this game," said Morocco
The player of the team, Himid Mao, said he was happy to have time to practice together, after the arrival of the group, so he believes they will do well
"I think everything is fine, we are prepared and fulfilled, we have had the chance to practice together all the players at least once, despite arriving at different times," Mao said
Tanzania is in Group E, occupying the fourth place with three points from the two matches it played, the same as leaders Morocco, Zambia and Niger, while it is in that position by the difference in goals scored and conceded
However, some of the star players called by Morocco including the striker, Simon Msuva, have refused to be part of the match due to allegations that they need to rest after finishing the season
