Acting Head Coach of Simba Juma Mgunda has said that they will continue to fight to ensure the team does well in the remaining four matches
Yesterday Simba were forced to draw 1-1 against Kagera Sugar in a game played at Kaitaba stadium in Kagera region
Talking about the game, Mgunda said it was not the result they expected because they planned to win the game but they have accepted it because it is the result of football
Additionally Mgunda said after the game, they have started preparations for the next game against Dodoma City which will be played on May 17 in Dodoma region
"Today we have started preparations for our next game against Dodoma City. We have recovered here in Kagera before returning to Dar es Salaam to continue with another program"
"We came here with the goal of winning, but it was not the case, we got one point. There were good things we did in the game against Kagera Sugar but there were also mistakes we made"
"My role as a coach is to make sure we correct all mistakes and continue the good things we did," said Mgunda
Mgunda has stressed that all the players are fighting and no one has the goal of seeing the team not doing well
Simba's squad has already returned to Dar es Salaam where Mgunda has given a day's rest. The team will continue training at Mo Simba Arena tomorrow
Simba is fighting with Azam Fc for the second place which will guarantee them to participate in the Champions League in Africa next season
