Acting Head Coach of Simba Juma Mgunda has said that the next match against Azam FC will be like a final as two of the best teams meet while each is competing for three important points at this time when the season is coming to a close
Simba needs to win that game to have a chance to eliminate Azam Fc in the second place as the teams differ by four points in the league standings
Azam Fc who played 25 matches have 57 points while Simba who played 24 matches have 53 points.
Yanga leads the league with 65 points, followed by Azam FC and Simba in third place, so if they win all six of their remaining games, they will finish with 71 points
In the case of Azam FC, which will host Simba tomorrow in the game played at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium, if it wins all its remaining five matches, it will reach 72 points, which makes the game a must for Simba to emerge victorious
Mgunda has admitted that the match will be difficult but the important thing for them is to find a win in order to continue to create conditions to finish in the top two positions in the league
"We are facing Azam FC, a very difficult game and we can say it is the final because it is the one that gives the impression of being in second place because we need to finish in that position," said Mgunda and added; p>
"It's not easy, but I believe I will help Simba return to the competition, I believe the players will bring the team back to a good place, the young people present are all mature and understand how to do it to keep the team in competition, so the important thing is to build them psychologically and bring them back to morale and everything will be fine," he said
