Chief Executive of Simba Imani Kajula has said that Simba's goals are to ensure that they win trophies and that is why the club has made major improvements starting from registration and the technical bench
Speaking at the General Meeting of Members earlier today, Kajula said Simba has prepared itself and will make sure they complete the set goals
"The goals of the club are to build a strong team capable of winning trophies, to build a strong and sustainable institution, to build a strong brand inside and outside of Tanzania, to build strong and productive foundations for members and fans, to build the ability to financially to achieve goals, attract talented employees, build solid foundations of communication with branches/members"
"We have made great improvements on the technical bench, starting with the coach, I think you all see. We have improved the health department of our team, we have very good doctors. But we have also strengthened the youth team by recruiting young people from different parts of the country. Our team of women has been very good"
"Another area is that we have strengthened the relationship significantly with our sponsors. Another big area is winning two Community Shields and being the best fans of the AFL"
"Simba brought the President of FIFA and the biggest one to announce it to Tanzania. We want to be champions in and out of the field. We started a WhatsApp channel and they were telling us but today we are leading by being number one in East and Central Africa"
"They had surpassed us on YouTube but as I speak now we have surpassed them and are leading on all networks. We will continue to build Simba's resources and another area is to have highly professional and capable staff"
"In the future, we are looking at improving income, strengthening the jersey business. Sandaland has done what you wanted as early as a jersey with a quality jersey. It is a bidder that has fulfilled the goals of you members. This year we are looking at how to involve branches in the sale of jerseys so that to increase their income"
"The existing challenges are financial resources, increased operating costs, expansion of demand, injury to players, changes and increased competition to continue to be the number one team," said Kajula
In addition, the Accountant of the Simba club, Suleiman Kahumbu, in addition to studying the club's income and expenditure for the year 2022/23, has also announced the club's budget for 2023/24
"Budget for the year 2023/2024 the club has planned to collect an amount of Tsh. 25,930,722,300 but it has planned to spend an amount of Tsh. 25,423,997,354. We will remain with additional income of Tsh. 506,724,946"
