DR Congo emerged with a 2-0 victory and thus started the tournament well with Inonga being used for the entire 90 minutes
In the starting squad, Inonga was the only player who plays soccer in Africa. Fiston Mayele of Pyramids Fc entered later in the second half

Inonga is one of the Simba players who are on national team duties
