Simba head coach, Robertinho Oliveira has revealed that currently his winger Luis Miquissone has found a fitness that he did not have at the beginning and there is a high possibility that he will use him for many minutes in the game against Al Ahly, this Friday at the Benajmin Mkapa Stadium
In the first five matches of the Premier League this season, Miquissone has played only 180 minutes with an average of only 36 minutes while missing one game, playing only one for 90 minutes and the other three coming from the bench
The reason that was given by Robertinho for not using the winger for many minutes is lack of fitness, a challenge that Robertinho has said that Miquissone has already worked on and believes that starting from the game against Al Ahly, the winger will get enough playing time
"He has made a very good progress (Miquissone). When he arrived and now there is a big difference and the good thing is that he himself has made great efforts to change and is very dedicated"
"In many matches he has been entering the second half but as I have seen him now, I am thinking of giving him a chance to start in our next matches so we can see if he can be better," said Robertinho.
Robertinho said he is happy to see Miquissone show his best in a period when he and his technical bench need his contribution to the team
"I have played as a winger in previous years and I was using both feet but Miquissone is very dangerous because he has the quality to use both feet well. There are times when big matches like this (against Al Ahly) are dictated by the players mature like him"
"If you look at the time we give him, you have strengthened him and if he is more consistent than here, there is a big advantage that he will add to our line up front," Robertinho was quoted by Sportsman
Miquissone has a chance to face his former employers in a game that may remind them of the reason for signing him three seasons ago when he scored a brutal goal in the Champions League game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
