Simba Queens, which also performed well in the international competition last season, has been stripped of the championship by JKT Queens with a difference of one point.
The head coach of Simba Queens, Charles Lukula, said he was sorry to see his team lose the championship this season but he admitted that the league was very competitive.
Lukula said despite missing the championship, he congratulates his players for doing well and leading the way in scoring a large number of goals.
"Although we have not won the championship this season, but my team has not done badly, we have scored more goals than other teams, we are starting to plan for next season," said Lukula.
The coach said that he will work early on the small shortcomings that appeared in the games they played in order to return to the new season stronger.
"There are small mistakes made in the offensive line, I will work on them as soon as the schedule comes out to start the preparations for next season early"
