Simba head coach Robertinho Oliveira has said that his team is ready for the first leg of the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League against Wydad Athletic
The game will be played at Benjamin Mkapa stadium on Saturday, April 22 2023
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Robertinho said they know at the stage they have reached there is no easy team, Wydad is a good team like Simba
The important thing for his players is to make sure they fight in the game and show their quality, the goal being to emerge victorious
"There is no weak team in the Champions League, Wydad is a better team like Simba and other clubs. We have done enough preparation and the players are ready for this game," said Robertinho
Speaking on behalf of the Simba players, defender Shomari Kapombe said they are ready and their mission is to show they can be better against the best teams
"We are well prepared, we want to show Tanzanians that we can and we are ready. We have been pulled out at this stage but now we are ready to show Tanzanians that we can," said Kapombe
