Simba head coach Robertinho Oliveira said his players did justice to the Simba jersey in the FA Cup quarter-final game against IHefu Fc, emerging with a 5-1 victory
Simba has secured a place in the semi-finals of the tournament after the resounding victory at Azam Complex, Chamazi on Friday night
Robertinho said they needed to win the game to reach the semi-finals and most importantly his players played well and finished the game in the first half
In the second half they did not have much pressure so he used the opportunity to introduce young players to complete the match considering Simba is facing a series of difficult matches this month
"We were better than our opponents, we scored a lot of goals and we are in the semi-finals, that's a good thing. I congratulate my players for the good work they did"
"After scoring four goals in the first half, I had to rest some players and bring in young players because we have a difficult schedule ahead of us," said Robertinho
After the victory, Simba is expected to travel to Mbeya for another match against Ihefu Fc, this time being a premier league game that will be played on Monday, April 10th at Highland Estates, Mbarali
