In the year 2023/24, Simba Sc has allocated a budget of more than Shs 13.7 billion. This was said yesterday by the head of the finance department, Suleiman Kahumbu at the Annual General Meeting of Simba Sc held at the International Conference Hall Mwalimu Julius Nyerere
In that budget, Simba hopes to collect money from its various sources of income including sponsorship.
Reading the statement of income and expenditure, Kahumbu said on the sponsorship Simba expects to bring in more than Shs 3.9 billion. Vunja Bei will also provide Sh725 million, Azam Tv advertising rights Sh2.5 billion and League advertisements Sh410 million and from other sources
Also in the budget, there is a deficit of 3.9 billion that the honorary president of the Simba club, Mohammed 'Mo' Dewji has provided.
Giving an analysis of the use of the budget, Kahumbu said they will spend more than Sh2.4 billion on registration while the salaries of players and other club employees is more than Sh4.8 billion.
Bonus for players is Shs 840 million, licenses and permits for visitors and technical bench is Shs 189 Million
Simba has also set aside Shs 578 million for cave tax, domestic and international transport Shs 874 million, players' allowances Shs 102 million.
While also allocating more than 26 million Shs for vehicle maintenance, 500 million Shs for food while the teams are in camp.
Kahumbu touched on last season's budget of Sh 11.9 billion which was approved by the last general meeting and collected Sh 12.7 billion while Mo Dewji added Sh 2 billion to the budget.
Last season, Simba spent more than Sh 4.38 billion on salaries, the senior camp Sh 2.2 billion, the women's team Sh 199 million. Performance issues over Sh2.6 Billion and other payments Sh385 million while registrations are spent Sh1 Billion
