Simba head coach Juma Mgunda has asked members and fans to continue to be united to ensure that they achieve their goals in the Champions League
Mgunda said that Simba needs that solidarity in the rematch against Primeiro De Agosto which will be played on Sunday October 16 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium
Yesterday Mgunda led Simba to emerge with a 3-1 victory against De Agosto in Angola and thus put Simba one foot into the group stage of the Champions League
However, Mgunda insisted that the match is not over yet because they still have another 90 minutes to fight for a good result at home
"We thank God we have had a great victory away from home but this does not mean we have finished our work no. This is the first match there is another one we will play at home. De Agosto is not a bad team they are the champions of Angola. With today's victory we have not qualified yet, we are going back home prepare for the return game," said Mgunda
The goals of Clatous Chama, Israel Mwenda and Moses Phiri were enough to guarantee Simba that important victory which has certainly put the reds of Msimbazi in a good position to enter the group stage of the African Champions League
Simba is the only club from Tanzania to win the first leg match away from home in the CAF Championship
Other Yanga representatives were forced to draw 1-1 against Al Hilal in the Champions League game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Saturday while Azam Fc were beaten 3-0 by Al Khaidar of Libya in the Federation Cup game
