Simba's attacking midfielder, Nigerian Nelson Okwa has made it clear that he is ready for work and he is most eager for the international competition which he believes Simba will do well due to the preparations they have made.
Okwa, who was signed by Simba from Rivers United of Nigeria in the registration window closed tonight, has said that he is ready and that the international friendly matches they played in Sudan have boosted their confidence
"Here in Sudan we are meeting teams that are participating in the CAF competition as well as it is part of our preparations but they are building us up mentally to make sure we are strong and experienced when we meet our opponents"
"Thanks to Kotoko and Al Hilal our opponents in the Champions League competition, matches against them gives us more confidence" said Okwa< /em>
Talking about the difficulty of the Tanzanian League, he clarified by noting that in the two games he played together and starting from the bench, he has realized that he is playing in a league that requires speed and strength
"I was included in the second half as a player, it added something to me because I had the chance to study my opponents and immediately after entering I used the shortcomings I saw and helped the team emerge victorious"
