Simba today will play an international friendly game against the locals, Al Hilal, which will be played at the city of Omdurman in Sudan
It will be the second match for the Tanzanian giants in a special tournament organized by Al Hilal after the first match played in the country against Ghana's Asante Kotoko where they won 4-2.
Simba Assistant Coach Selemani Matola has said that the match will continue to help players strengthen themselves for the next Tanzania Mainland Premier League matches and the Champions League international competition.
The coach said the technical bench continues to enjoy the opportunity they got to participate in the tournament which gives them a chance for some players who missed the Pre Season preparation where they camped in Egypt and others who missed the chance to play the previous two matches of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League.< /p>
"The coach (Zoran Maki) has now started to get a real picture of a certain player, how to use them, this will help us a lot in the Premier League matches as well as the Champions League because the players are getting better," said Matola.
Simba is playing the tournament without nine players who are in the national team (Taifa Stars), including Erasto Nyoni who is sick and Joash Onyango who was left in Tanzania
