After losing the Community Shield game, Simba is now focusing their efforts on the league where on Wednesday, they will be at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium to face Geita Gold in a game that will be played at 6 pm
Information and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally said they are still sad to lose the game against Yanga, but they should move forward as they need to put all their strength into the league
"The truth is that Saturday's result hurt us a lot, but we have to forget it in order to put all our energy into the next matches. We have 30 league games ahead of us. On Wednesday we play against Geita Gold. Everyone knows that last season we started the league with to falter and maybe that affected us, we should start with a win"
"I am asking the Simba fans, let's go to the stadium in large numbers to support our players to make sure we win. We are one team, we win together and even if we lose we are all together," he said
Simba returned to training yesterday to prepare for the game against Geita Gold which will be the first of this season
Last season Simba beat Geita Gold 2-1 in the game played at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium and were forced to draw 1-1 in the game played at the CCM Kirumba stadium
