Several clubs in the country have competed this season to sign foreign players, with some of them starting to gain popularity like Stephane Aziz Ki, Gael Bigirimana, Augustine Okrah, Nelson Okwa, Kipre Junior, Tape Edinho and Ali Ahamada even before the Premier League starts

The former player of Reli Moro, Simba and Taifa Stars, Fikiri Magoso said that 30 players are registered in the team, 12 of which will be used, it will make them work hard, which will increase the vitality of the team.
"I don't see a problem at all, that will make every player wake up to make sure he enters the squad of 20 players who travel and later fight for 18 and up to 11," said Magoso and added;
"I, the league board, support football, it is not a fighting game, it will be a very good challenge for them, especially these natives who forget themselves a lot"
The coach of Geita Gold, Fred Felix 'Minziro' said, the natives should value this opportunity to apply themselves and realize themselves because football has become a job, which is why even small teams are pushing themselves to register foreigners.
"Big teams have the ability to buy those players, but for us small teams, it's a very big task. Even I see challenging Zoran Maki from Simba and Nasreddine Nabi from Yanga, I get a lot and respect myself," said Minziro.
Peter Manyika, the former international goalkeeper of Tanzania said, there is one side that is right and the other is not right, especially in the national team that is losing its appeal.
"I think it's right and wrong, if our native players understand themselves it will be better for them, but if they continue as they are, it's a very big job, because the ones with the greatest ability to sign up those players are Simba, Yanga and Azam," said Manyika , while Abdallah Kibadeni opposed the rule claiming it will lose the life of the national team which largely depends on players from big teams.
"It is wrong, it will prevent these local players from playing and where will the national team get good players, if they were to register 12 but only three would be allowed, it would be very good, but for 12 there are too many, because the teams whose players are expected to be called are the ones with potential the one to register," said Kibadeni.
