Simba head coach, Zoran Maki said that they are progressing well with preparation training for the beginning of the season, while he expects his team to play more friendly matches
Yesterday Simba played the first friendly match in Egypt against their hosts Ismailia which ended in a 1-1 draw
Maki said that the training and matches together will help him understand the abilities of his players and the type of improvements he should make
"Training is good, I know a little about the abilities of some of the players I have here. We will play more friendly matches and this is to see our abilities and progress of our preparations," said Maki
Maki has congratulated the leaders of Simba and the club in general for bringing him an assistant who is Sbai Karim.
"This is very important at the beginning of the season to have him, I think he will join us later. They told me there are five players who will arrive, but there are new players who will be coming too, it is good if they come early"
