The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has named seven stadiums that lack the qualifications to be used for Premier League games in the 2022/2023 season
In the assessment carried out by TFF, they identified Mkwakwani stadium in Tanga, Ilulu Lindi, Usharika (Kilimanjaro), Mabatini (Pwani), Sokoine (Mbeya), Jamhuri (Dodoma) and Nyankumbu Girls (Geita).
According to the information provided by the communication information department of the League Board, it has been confirmed that in accordance with the league regulations and rules number one, the stadiums have lacked quality in some areas.
They mentioned that the playing area is uneven and lacks enough grass, defects in the fence separating the fans from the playing area, the main stage lacks quality including the roof defect.
Also, the dressing rooms of referees and players have lacked the characteristics of a decent size with a fan or AC for access to sufficient air, access to sanitary facilities and sufficient at all times, access to electricity and the presence of clean and modern toilets.

Also, the lack of a communication room, the lack of a doctor's room for first aid, the lack of a room for game officials, the lack of technical benches capable of allowing at least 17 people to sit, the lack of platforms for of viewers and the presence of posters or advertising images not recognized by TFF or TPLB.
The League Board has asked the clubs that use the stadiums to ensure that they are repaired to meet the regulatory requirements before the start of the 2022/23 Premier League season
