Simba Sc Information and Communication Manager, Ahmed Ally, has said that despite the good record of coach Zoran Manojlovic, but what impressed them the most was his record of reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League with Primeiro de Agosto of Angola.
Ahmed said Simba is determined to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League as well as reclaim all domestic titles, so Zoran has been given those conditions
"He has a very good CV, we are impressed with his experience especially in African football, he has coached Southern Africa, North and Central, and most importantly to take the Angolan team to the semi-finals of the Champions Leaue, and that's what we need most, "said Ahmed
"We have given him our goals by telling him that we want the CAF semi-finals and both our Premier League and FA Cup titles to return to Msimbazi"
The coach took Primeiro de Agosto to the semi-finals in 2018.
In addition to the team he coached from 2017 to 2019, he also coached Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, 2019 to 2020, before moving to Al Hilal of Sudan 2020 to 2021, after which he traveled to Algeria to coach CR Belouizdad but did not stay long and went to join Al Tai of Saudi Arabia.
He said they have given him one year which also has the feature of extending the contract if he does well within that time.
