Simba defender, Shomari Kapombe has been removed from the squad of the Tanzania National team, Taifa Stars which is preparing to play against Niger being replaced by Lusajo Mwaikenda of Azam Fc.
Kapombe has been dropped from the Stars squad due to injuries sustained while in the Simba squad.
He was injured in a league match against Geita Gold played on May 22, at CCM Kirumba Stadium
Tanzania is set to play at Stade de I'Amitie on June 4 this year against Niger in an Afcon 2023 qualifier.
