A day like today ten years ago, the football industry in the Country lost one of the best players, Patrick Mutesa Mafisango who until his death was playing for Simba Sc and the Rwandan national team.
The late Mafisango died on May 17, 2012 in a car accident in Keko, Dar es Salaam just days after the Tanzania Mainland Premier League 2011/2012 season in which Simba won the Title
Until his death, Mafisango was 32 years old and before playing for Simba he played for TP Mazembe, APR, Atraco and Azam Fc
Mafisango is said to be one of the best foreign players to ever play football in the Country with Simba
He helped Simba win the Premier League title in the 2011/2012 season and death came to him after the season ended
Simba failed to win a title again for about five seasons until the 2017/18 season
Simba will continue to remember Mafisango, one of the best players to ever played the country's champions
